Eine sehr erfreuliche Ausnahme ist hier ClipSecure. Mit diesem Programm kann man auf einfachste Weise Text bzw. eMails sicher verschlüsseln. Einfach den entsprechenden Hotkey gedrückt oder über das TrayIcon auf Encrpyt oder Decrypt gehen und schon wird der gesamte Text im aktuellen Fenster markiert und ein Fenster zur Eingabe des Paßwortes erscheint. An dieser Stelle besetzt das Programm sogar einen rudimentären Paßwortmanager für häufig wiederkehrende Paßwörter. ClipSecure bietet folgende Verschlüsselungsalgorithmen: Blowfish, Cast256, MARS, RC6, AES (Rijndael), Serpent, Twofish, IDEA, 3DES Der HASH kann mittels: MD5, RipeMD, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, Tiger bestimmt werden. Verschlüsselter Text kann auch automatisch komprimiert werden. Damit die Texte wieder ordnungsgemäß entschlüsselt werden können, muß natürlich auch der Verschlüsselungsalgorithmus/HASH-Algorithmus passen, sofern dieser geändert wurde.
