gMote kann andere Anwendungen mit Hilfe von zuvor Freehand gezeichneten Mausgesten starten und steuern.
Die Tastenkombination STRG + SHIFT aktiviert die Zeichnen- & Gestenerkennung des im Hintergrund laufenden gMote.
Man zeichnet nun mit der Maus eine Figur bzw. Geste auf den Desktop, und sobald man die Tasten auslässt, wird die
Zeichnung mit den zuvor aufgenommenen Mouse Gestures verglichen und die zugehörige Aktion ausgeführt.

gMote is a free and customisable tool that provides fast access to frequently-used actions via mouse gestures. gMote can do anything your keyboard can do. No installation is required; the program will extract several files it needs and you will see these appear in the same folder. If you have an older version, save the new one in the same folder and you'll keep your settings. - The first thing you should do after you load gMote is click "Create Gesture"! Then experiment... - By default, the program won't run next time you start Windows unless you tell it to, by clicking its icon on the task bar and selecting "Always run at startup". - If you're using Vista (like me), note that the Aero them can slow gMote down when "drawing anywhere". Either switch to the Basic theme or tick "fast trails" on the Options dialog. Using fast trails, you'll notice that parts of the gesture might disappear if something else on the screen is redrawn (such as an animation). - gMote will check for updates online and tell you when they're available.
