Beschreibung:
Es braucht nur die Portable-VirtualBox.exe ausgeführt werden und alle Einstellungen
werden automatisch vorgenommen. Es muss also nichts von Hand editiert werden.
Features des Starters:
- SplashScreen beim Start und Ende (ob etwas passiert)
- HotKeys (STRG+1 bis STRG+6) für mehr Komfort
- HotKeys sind selber definierbar
- Tray-Menü, über rechtsklick mit der Maus (multilanguage)
- Einstellungen und Sprachen werden in *.ini-Dateien gespeichert
- verstecken der VM und des Managers in den Tray
- ändern des Heimverzeichnisses, Start-VM, HotKeys und Sprache per Mausklick (multilanguage)
- Überprüfung, ob VirtaulBox-Dateien existieren, sonst erfolgt Fehlermeldung und der Startabruch
- starten des VirtualBox-Managers mit Parameter (Portable-VirtualBox.exe "VM-Name")
- alle statischen Pfade in der VirtualBox.xml werden automatisch durch relative Pfade ersetzt
- u.v.m.
Sprachen des Starters:
englisch, deutsch, portugisisch, spanisch, französisch, russisch, italienisch
Hinweis:
VirtualBox benötigt mindestens Hauptbenutzer-Rechte, da 3 Dienste (PortableVBoxDRV, PortableVBoxUSBMon
und wenn nicht schon installiert VBoxUSB) eingerichtet werden müssen und VirtualBox im "Ring-3"-Modus initiiert wird.
Eigene Netzwerk-Adapter können nicht erstellt werden, da dafür mehrere Registrywerte erstellte werden.
Diese Werte sind immer unterschiedlich und dies lässt sich nicht auf eine portable Version übertragen.
Wenn also eine Fehlermeldung diesbezüglich erscheint liegt das daran, beim Versuch ein Netzwerkadapter in
VirtualBox zu erstellen, das der entsprechende Systemdienst nicht mit gestartet wird.
Wenn die VM läuft muss die "HOST-Taste" (rechte STRG-Taste) betätigt werden um die Hotkeys verwenden
zu können, da der Focus dann auf der VM liegt!
Wichtig:
Es wurden keine Dateien von VirtualBox ( http://www.virtualbox.org ) modifiziert oder anderweitig verändert.
Die Dateien wurden lediglich entpackt und mit UPX ( http://upx.sourceforge.net )
oder MPRESS ( http://www.matcode.com/mpress.htm ) gepackt, um Speicherplatz zu sparen!
