Das Clonezilla Paket gibt es in zwei verschiedenen Varianten:
Die Clonezilla Live Linux-CD kann Images von einzelnen Systemen, also Partitionen bzw. ganzen Festplatten anlegen.
Die installierbare Clonezilla Server Edition unterstützt Multicasting; damit kann auf mehrere Computer gleichzeitig

Geschwindigeitsvorteil: Clonezilla speichert und stellt nur benutze Blöcke her (was z.B. G4L Ghost for Linux nicht kann).
Die Entwickler geben an, dass sie ein System mit 5,6 GByte via Multicasting in nur 10 Minuten
auf 41 Clients gespielt haben. Mittels Unicasting würde derselbe Vorgang etwa 50 Minuten dauern.
