Sound Control steuert die Windowsklänge per Tastatur. Das kostenlose Programm regelt die Audiolautstärke des Rechners, wechselt zwischen Audioquellen oder steuert den bekannten Audioplayer Winamp. Mit frei einstellbaren Tastenkombinationen passt der Benutzer das Programm an eigene Vorlieben an.
Sound Control kommt fast ohne eigene Oberfläche aus. Die Software klinkt sich in die Systemtray ein oder verschwindet bei Bedarf ganz von der Bildfläche. In einem Konfigurationsdialog legt man Tastenkombinationen für die einzelnen Klangeinstellungen und Winamp-Steuerbefehle fest. Ein so genanntes OSD (OnScreen Display) zeigt dabei grafische Balken für die Lautstärke, den aktuellen Song oder die gewählte Audioquelle an. Zudem kann man auf diese Weise beliebige andere Anwendungen per Tastenkürzel auf dem Rechner ausführen.
Fazit
Mit Sound Control steuert der Anwender alle erdenklichen Klangeinstellungen von Windows mit der Tastatur. Dank der Software muss der Anwender nicht mehr umständlich in der Systemtray oder der Systemsteuerung herumklicken, sondern erreicht alle Optionen einfach und schnell per Tastenkürzel. Die Fernsteuerung von Winamp als Dreingabe rundet die Software ab. |
