Whois Gateway
See if a domainname is free with this Whois gateway. You can also find information about existing domainnames, the provider that owns an IP-address, or even persons.
Upload
Upload is a cgi-bin program that can be used to upload one or more files to a WWW server, using standard HTML forms. It uses the http protocol, so there is no need for an FTP server.
Form2Mail
Email is the basic means of communications on the internet. This program will take input from a form on a webpage and send it by email to any email address you want. Includes support for MIME and X-html email's.
Showenv
Debug cgi-bin scripts with this nice little program. Replace the action field of a form with this program, and you will get a page back showing the environment in a neat format. Much more powerful than some simple little shell scripts I have seen floating around.
Imageinfo
Imageinfo is a cgi-bin program that will return a page about an image. The page contains information such as the filename of the image, the path on harddisk, width, height, filesize, URL (which I can cut and paste into html), and if I like I can see the image as a background. I use this program in my image archive, to -obviously- get more information about an image.
WordGenerator
Random word generator. Handy if you need a new password, or when you need a new name for a company or product.
Jumplist
Jumplist is a small cgi program that makes it very easy to create a pull-down list of pages to jump to. It could be used to create the menu of your site, or a list of interesting URL's.
Utilities
C/C++ GOLD engine
An engine for the GOLD utility that generates .h files for use in programs. Only interesting for programmers.
Htmlincl
Htmlincl is a pre-processor that generates html files out of 'macro' files. The macrofiles contain special instructions for Htmlincl. There are instructions to include other files, if/then conditional html, and macro handling.
CopyNew
A program to quickly determine which files have changed. I use it to synchronize my PC with the webservers, and my PC at home and my PC at work.
Imgindex http://www.kessels.com/Downloads/imgindex/index.html
Imgindex will generate html index pages for your collection of images. It will scan the current directory and all it's subdirectories for images, and generate index.m files. After that, all you have to do is run my htmlincl program, and presto, the index is ready. The index will be sorted by image size, and uses my imginfo program to get more information about an image.

This program will translate the DOS characterset into html sequences. For example: the DOS characterset has character 130 (decimal) defined as 'é'. You cannot use this character just like that in html, it will be shown as character '‚'. Instead, you should use the html sequence 'é'.

A very small and almost trivial utility. It will translate filenames into all-lowercase...
Txt2
Translate any input text into either DOS, UNIX, or MAC text. The program will filter errors that can occur when a text from one platform has been edited on another platform.

This program shows a tree of the Javascript properties of a webpage. Very handy if you are writing a javascript and need to know which properties are available and how they are called.

GenToc are a script and a module respectively
(the script uses the module) to generate a Table of Contents for HTML
documents. I use them for the ToC generation for these web pages.
txt2html and HTML::
TextToHTML are a script and a module respectively
(the script uses the module) to convert text files to HTML.
I use this for all the text to HTML conversions on this website.
etalpmet
is a perl script which I use to do the template processing for this website.
teperl
is a perl script which I use to do the embedded
perl processing for his website.
katpoll
is a perl CGI script which I use to do the polls on this website.
Module::Starter::Plugin::Template::TeTe
is a perl module plugin to the Module::Starter module.
disproot and Graphics::DispRoot
are a script and a module respectively (the script uses the module)
to display an imageon the root window of an X-Windows display.
I use them to display random images on my desktop.
rainbow and mkimgset and Graphics::ColScheme
are scripts and a module respectively (the scripts use the module)
to generate colour schemes suitable for X-Windows window managers.
I use them to give myself a different colour scheme every day!
AsciiDB::DeepFields
is a perl module to process plain text (ASCII) data files which
are defined in Field:Value format.
xhtmlpp
is an XHTML preprocessor. It is what I used to use to generate
these web pages quite a while ago. |

Re-Namer (787 Kb - Installer.zip)
Mit dem Re-Namer ist es möglich die Schreibweise vorhandener
Dateien einfach zu ändern. Dieses Programm habe ich entwickelt,
da ich oft mit den Problemen der Server und meinen Links zu tun habe.
Meist ist es doch so, dass man eine Html-Datei komplett klein schreibt
im Link dann aber einen Fehler macht. Leider funktionieren diese
Verweise dann nicht, da die Server streng die Schreibweise unterscheiden.
Da ich diese Problematik kenne und auch um die Nöte eines manchen
Webmasters weiß, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen diese kleine
Software hier hier zu schreiben...

HTML-Toolbox 3.2 (Nov 2003 - 1.3 MB)
Die "HTML-Toolbox" beinhaltet verschiedenste Werkzeuge für den
Umgang mit HTML und CSS. Mit ihr lassen sich schnell und einfach
komplette Framesets, Meta-Daten (Meta Tags), MouseOver Buttons,

myWebDATA 1.3 (Feb 2004 - 5.00 MB)
"myWebDATA" ist eine komfortable Datenbank die sich speziell an
Webmaster oder Besitzer mehrerer Homepages richtet. Homepage-Details
wie Website-Name, Domain, FTP-UserID, FTP-Passwort sowie Informationen
zum Provider/Hoster und Subdomains werden in "myWebDATA" gespeichert
und übersichtlich dargestellt.
Der gesamte Datenbankinhalt kann ins MS Word-, MS Excel-, HTML-
und Ascii - Format exportiert werden.
Neben der primären Aufgabe der Website Verwaltung, ist auch ein kleiner
FTP Client sowie ein Tool zur Abfrage von freien Domain-Namen implementiert.
"myWebDATA" wird über eine Setup-Routine installiert, über dieses Setup
